Poetry

My heart is now slumber,

My thoughts are a winter,

My head is a darkened cave.

My eyes are the night,

The fire is quenched,

Nothing to see but shadows, sihouettes.

We must go and find it,

This collective must fight for it;

To the journey, onward and fetch.

Oh Feeble soul, don't you dismay,

We'll retrieve your passion again.

The love is there, we hear its cheer,

Once we get it, you'll rest, my friend.

Slam my body onto the clouds

Let it soak up all my pain;

Turn that cloud upside down,

Have it pour out all my shame.

All the land will feel me now,

The soil will know my name;

Humans, they will stand in awe

When they see how much they've gained.

Come into the dark...

And hold a light so bright.

I looked down upon his crown

And saw my future cares,

It took to witch, nor a psychic

To tell me what was there.

From all his pics and his comments

I feared my day would come,

When, from my crown, all my hair

Would jump off in despair.

I own this land I live in,

This land I call "The Creeps".

I told them to come live in,

Though I will never leave.

They moved in and were grinnin'

Til the sun went down to sleep,

Then they fled and left their linen

When they realized I'm deceased.

Your black dress.

You're a mess.

There is no rest,

There is no rest.

My black tie.

My dry cry.

I want to die,

I want to die.

Saw you there,

On that chair.

After you died,

After you died.
